Mashed Up
I don't know about you, but growing up, I knew everything only in it's simplicity. Kind of like colors. Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, etc... It was only until a little later when I learned about other colors, like Kelly Green or Electric Blue, that got we wondering where these colors came from? Duh, add a little Yellow to Green & there you go, Kelly Green. No big deal.
Now let's translate that idea into our society. People are more than just a face & some clothes, they have backgrounds. Backgrounds that made them who they are. And nowadays, it's much more than "I'm German" or "I'm Brazilian". No, it's more like "My mom is half Irish/half French & my dad is quarter German/quarter Brazilian/half Italian". So I don't know what that what make you, but it sure is a complex background. This is a good thing. People are becoming aware of more than just their surroundings, & this plays a crucial role in bringing people together.
Which brings me to why I love making these Mash-Up shirts. The fusion of your heritage brought out to the public, on a t-shirt. We get numerous requests for new Mash-ups every day, and now I'm proud to share some of them with you.
This one was requested a long time ago, but keeps getting requested, so we added it to the Nationalist Collection.
Here is Puerto Rico/Mexico.
Here is Puerto Rico/Mexico.
Puerto Rico is actually thee most popular of our flags. This is Puerto Rico/Honduras.
Puerto Rico/Samoa
A little bit of love in the air, with Puerto Rico/Bolivia.
Speaking of love, you & your partner in life should definitely be on the same page with each other's heritage. This is Peru/Chile.
Only in LA, El Salvador/Mexico.
Speak up by adding a message to your flags. Colombia/Panama.
El Salvador/Ireland happens.
So does Honduras/Ireland.
Taking it to the Middle-East, here we have Lebanon/Armenia.
If you have more than 2 ethnic backgrounds, there are also other ways to represent them. Here we did a West Indies design with 3 flags: St.Vincent/St.Kitts/Grenada.
Another one for the Caribbeans, St. Maarten/St. Kitts/Anguilla
So, basically you get the picture: Anything can be done!
Send us your Mash-up requests to Customs@SafariBrand.com

Back to PR
Yes, once again we go back to Puerto Rico for another fresh design. This one will also be exclusive to the Puerto Rico Shop hidden in our website.
We call this Big CirCulture - Puerto Rico

Please, please pay close attention to detail. This is no joke. Some people are a little confused as to why some of our shirts are more pricey than others, so here is a little explanation: As you can see, this particular design uses our signature Impressionist paint pattern. By this, I mean the swirls & circles which give a significant amount of detail to the flag. So it's a bit of a longer process than our usual Classic designs, but that's what makes the difference in the end product.

Here's a closer look to show you what I mean.

The star has also been stylized with Metallic White paint, which gives it an exquisite shimmer.

Metallic Silver logo on back of left shoulder.

Prizza Prizza
Every year, we add a few new designs to our Puerto Rico Shop. You might ask, "What are you guys, Puerto Rican?" And i'll say, no, we're not Puerto Rican, but when Safari Brand had first started, majority of our supporters happened to be Boricua's! (By the way, I'm not yelling. It's just that you can't say Boricua without '!' behind it). Let alone the hundreds of customers, many musicians pushed the brand to where it got. To name a few, Voltio, Calle 13, Daddy Yankee, N.O.R.E, & almost any other Puerto Rican artist has been in a Safari Brand shirt. So therefore, it was only right to give them a specified area in our shop. And don't call it segregation!
This year, one new design has made it's way to the PR Shop, so far.
We call this Prizza.

Obviously derived from "pizza", Prizza was inspired by the shape of a slice of your favorite food.

Hand-painted design features Metallic paint.

3-D paint makes the shirt what it is.

Prizza also comes in White.

Prizza & more Boricua! designs are now available here.
